STORGÉ

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

In short: Storgé keeps only what your family needs to see that everyone is OK: first names, check-in times, moods and the hearts you send. No location. No photos. No ads, no trackers, no selling data, ever. Your data lives in the EU, and when you delete your account, it goes.

Who we are

Storgé is made by DeployHelp LLC, Yerevan, Armenia (“we”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Questions or requests: contact@mystorge.com.

Who can see it

Where it is kept

The database and server functions run in Google Cloud's europe-west1 region (Belgium, EU). Some providers (for example push notifications or app-store billing) may process data in other countries, including the United States, under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Legal basis (EU/UK users)

We process your data to provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep it safe and working (legitimate interest), and where we must by law. Moods are something you choose to share with your family and you can skip them at any time.

Children

Children never create an account and never give us an email. A parent or guardian, the family organiser, adds a child by first name (or nickname), and the child's phone joins by scanning the family QR code. We store only that name, the child's check-ins and schedule, and the hearts they send and receive. We never store a child's location. There are no ads or third-party trackers anywhere in Storgé. The organiser can remove a child at any time, which deletes the child's data. By adding a child, the organiser confirms they are the child's parent or guardian, or have their permission.

Accounts are for adults: you must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to create one. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data-protection authority. Most of it you can do in the app (change your name, skip the mood question, delete your account). For a copy of your data or anything else, email contact@mystorge.com; we answer within 30 days. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information.

Security

Sign-in is passwordless (email link), family access is enforced on our servers, invite codes are one-time and hashed, and widget keys are stored only as hashes. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong, we will tell affected families and authorities as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
